Taylor Swift made her acting debut as the host of Saturday Night Live this weekend with a clever opening monologue that featured musical jabs at Kanye and a well-deserved diss of Joe Jonas. Considering Kanye stole her VMA spotlight and Jo-Bro Joe broke up with her over the phone, they’re lucky Taylor thinks laughter is the best revenge. What do you think? Does T. i personally thinks shes overrated and am getting sick and tired of the media blitz over her. if i see another commercial or ad with taylor swift in it I will scream! I agree with P^^ I don’t understand how all these other commentors are missing the point of the song. She was obviously addressing all the media hype and focus on her personal life and on the kanye incident. And she was poking fun at herself for writing those songs, as well as the actual nomality of her life in liking to bake and enjoying winter smells etc. She has not focused on Joe for months, she is just constantly asked about him and as for Kanye, this SNL skit was the only time since it happened that she has voluntarily spoke about it, and she pretty much had to because of all the speculation beforehand that he would be on the show or be the focus of the jokes on the show. She was just saying those topics were off-limits for the show, and they were except for one reference during the “Hollywood news” skit. Also when she said “Kanye is Not here” at the end of her monologue, she was addressing the rumor that was going on for several weeks before the show that he would make a surprise guest appearance. All-in-All she was classy and funny and sweet, which is her normal everyday self. Its all the obsessive jonas and kanye and some Taylor fans that are the ones that need to let all this stuff go and let her live her life as private as possible. She shares her music with the world and shares as much of herself on myspace and through her blogs and videos as she can, people shouldn’t expect or demand more.

Personally, I like Taylor……..the opening skit was adorable (cause Lord knows if it was me that all that happened to, that damn skit would still be taking place!). It was clean, cute, goofy, and catchy (it was literally Taylor Swift)……….
The ONLY issue that I have with her is the fact she’s “dating” her bf’s ex……….that’s a rocky situation and i hope her and Selena that best on that one…….as for Taylor Lautner…..when ur finished with the Disney Channel……hit me up! yummy!
