Rumors swirled last week that Britney Spears and her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick were on the rocks after he rejected her marriage proposal and fled Australia, where she was finishing up her world tour. But a source close to the couple told People that the rumors are “100 percent absolutely false. There was no proposal and they were never engaged. Jason spent more time in Australia than originally planned…They are very happy.” Here’s to happily ever after for Brit-Brit and her prince!

Honestly, Aussies, we know you want the real deal, but wouldn’t you rather see the pop princess lip-syncing than not see her at all?
