Gossip Girl Rocks the Vote

Abraham Lincoln once said, “The ballot is stronger than the bullet.”  Unfortunately, Nate slept through that lesson in U.S.  History class…and most of his other classes, too.  When N attempts to support his cousin Tripp’s campaign for Congress, his pretty face does more harm than good.  Meanwhile, B has her cake, but she’s forced to eat it, too.

Doesn’t all this talk of N and cake make you hungry for tonight’s episode?

Spotted: B and S on the steps of the Met in my new book, I Will Always Love You. Their fights are legendary, but their friendship is timeless. Here’s what they’re up to now:

Once they were alone, Serena stared dumbly at her friend. She couldn’t believe Blair was right in front of her. She looked older, somehow. Her hair was longer than it had been last summer, her small face more angular. But she was grinning widely in a way that reminded Serena of how she’d looked as a little kid.

“I bought you coffee.” Serena proffered a white Dean & Deluca cup.

Blair took a sip and smiled as the skim latte with two Splendas slid down her throat. That was the great thing about old friends. They knew you, right down to how you took your coffee.

Blair felt a warm hand on her hip, just above her La Perla boycut panties. She murmured slightly, nestling into the warm body settling in next to her. She smelled the scent of L’Occitane soap and a little bit of pot. As soon as she inhaled, a tingly feeling shot through her. It smelled like Nate. Nate had somehow sensed her distress, and come for her. Maybe this was all a dream, but at this point, she’d take dream Nate. She squeezed her eyes shut, not wanting to wake up and break the spell.
